Weaved in the streets of Covent Garden are historic moments commemorated with plaques. Jane Austen, David Garrick, Thomas Arne, Dame Margot Fonteyn and Thomas Davies, Dr Samuel Johnson & James Boswell. London’s West End, awash with theatres and shows, is very close by.

Ambling down Tottenham Court Road, you’ll come to the Underground Station. Step onto the Central, Elizabeth and Northern lines to reach surrounding areas of the city.

Trafalgar Square

One of London’s famous landmarks, Trafalgar Square, is less than a mile from Bertrand’s Townhouse and accessed quicker using the London Underground.

For a more relaxed visit, consider going outside of weekends and school holidays. For the quietest experience, we would recommend visits outside of rush hours, additionally lunch hours too.
